AMD Cop is answering-machine detection for outbound dialling. The moment a call connects, it works out whether a live person or a recording picked up and tells your dialer what to do next. People are put straight through to an agent. Recordings are let go before they ever reach a headset. Because it reads the shape of the answer rather than guessing from a timer, the calls that used to be dropped by mistake are kept.

What it does
People who answer slowly, say more than hello, or call from a noisy room are no longer mistaken for recordings and cut off. The person who was ready to talk stays on the line.
Recordings are let go before they ever reach a headset, so agent time is spent on real contacts rather than voicemail. Capacity rises without adding a seat.
There is no silent analysis pause played to the person who answered, the very thing that draws carrier attention and gets a number flagged.
The decision happens on your own servers. Call audio never crosses your network boundary, so there is nothing to send out and nothing to sub-process.
AMD Cop runs on hardware you already own, so the cost does not grow with your call volume.
Why it stays in-house
Hosted detection sends every answered call, every voice and every word, to an outside vendor. For a BPO under a client data agreement, or any organisation inside GDPR, that is often where an evaluation ends. AMD Cop removes that question entirely. The classification happens on your own servers, so there is nothing to send out, nothing to declare as a sub-processor, and nothing of yours sitting in anyone else’s records.
